Capital efficiency + Patient horizons

From experience to action.

Durable value is created through sound fundamentals, thoughtful execution, and measured growth — not short-term acceleration. This is a conviction earned through decades of operating experience across multiple technology cycles, from the dot-com era and post-9/11 recovery to the Great Recession and the COVID-driven inflationary period.

Beyond that, I'm an entrepreneur at heart — and that perspective is my investing edge. When founding a few  startups around the time of 9/11—several with early similarities to what later became companies like Instacart and Uber — shaped my ability to recognize transformative ideas long before they are obvious or broadly understood.

Over the past 15 years, I've partnered closely with founders and investors at moments of inflection, conducting deep diligence, mentoring operators, and investing in emerging technology companies ahead of market consensus.

Having participated in public markets in the 1990s, I intentionally moved upstream into early-stage private ventures, where patient capital, conviction, and hands-on engagement enable the selection and stewardship of a concentrated set of truly innovative companies well before the market recognizes their significance.

What long-term investing teaches you.

This fund is built on decades of operating experience across multiple technology cycles, with a focus on AI, cybersecurity, and B2B/SaaS. Having built and scaled products alongside technical operators, I bring operator-grade judgment to identifying value early—before consensus forms—and to underwriting companies with durable paths to scale.

Patterns emerge when you've watched value compound across multiple cycles. You begin to see where the asymmetric opportunities lie—not in the headlines, but in the fundamentals that quietly compound over time.

Why this matters for investors.

For investors, early access to these companies — before they scale, before valuations reflect consensus, and before the opportunity is widely recognized — is the asymmetric bet. We are uniquely positioned to identify and access these opportunities because of:

Capital Efficiency and Selective Deployment

We deploy capital with discipline and selectivity, concentrating resources on the highest-conviction opportunities where our operational expertise creates measurable advantage from the earliest stages — before institutional attention arrives.

Backing Early-Stage AI and Cybersecurity Companies that Address Meaningful, Real-World Challenges

We focus on AI and cybersecurity companies solving genuine enterprise pain points — practical tools and platforms with defensible moats and clear paths to adoption, no speculative technologies chasing near-term hype.

Patient Investment Horizons

We recognize durable value is created through sound fundamentals, thoughtful execution, and measured growth rather than short-term acceleration

Our four investment pillars.

01 | Differentiated Access

Long-standing, trust-based relationships with founders and technical builders generate proprietary early-stage deal flow in a market where high-quality founders are increasingly selective about their capital partners.

02 | Operator-Grade Judgement

Having built and scaled products alongside technical operators, we bring an engineer's eye to identifying value early — before consensus forms — and to underwriting companies with durable paths to scale.

03 | Repeatable Framework

Investment decisions are guided by a disciplined process of evaluating founder quality, technical depth, problem criticality, AI leverage, and scalability — not heuristics or herd behavior.

04 | Pattern Recognition

Developed through decades of building and investing, our pattern recognition identifies product-led outliers and overlooked talent earlier than traditional signal-based approaches can.

THE FOUNDER PROFILE WE SEEK

Builders with uncommon conviction — shaped by adversity.

Founders who think independently and challenge consensus in the pursuit of enduring truths.

Contrarian builders who see structural advantages others overlook and design differentiation that compounds over time.

Technical operators — engineers, computer scientists, and STEM-approximate builders — who iterate relentlessly and design solutions to unmet market needs.

Leaders with deep technical fluency — a mindset rooted in systems thinking, first-principles problem solving, and an instinct to build before scaling.

servant leadership

The role of stewardship in how we lead and build.

Many know me through my work in education, workforce development, and entrepreneurship — but that commitment to service did not begin from a place of abundance. It began out of necessity. I grew up with limited resources and little access to the tools, networks, or innovation ecosystems that create opportunity and wealth.

What started as informal, instinctive giving, over time became more intentional and focused, shaped by more than 25 years of volunteering and service. This philosophy is foundational to how I lead and to the culture we are building — one rooted in servant leadership, shared prosperity, and the conviction that when opportunity is extended thoughtfully, it has the power to lift many, not just a few.

This fund is how we put that conviction into action — opening early access to private, high-growth technology startups to investors who've never had a full seat at the table.

Let's talk about what's on the horizon.

Some of the best conversations I've had started with a simple note and informal chat. If you want to go deeper on what we're building — or you know someone who should be a part of this — I'd love to hear from you.
